Method and apparatus for purifying water

Apparatus for purifying water, comprising. -a input (108) and an outlet (109), -a metal generator (114) adapted to provide concentrations of one or more metals to the water, having an inlet in fluid communication with the inlet (108) of the device (100 ), -a halogen generator adapted to provide concentrations of halogen to the water, having an inlet (126) and an outlet (128), -a venturi (130) having an inlet nozzle (132) and an outlet (136) wherein the metal generator (114) further comprises a first outlet in fluid communication with the inlet of the halogen generator, and a second outlet in fluid communication with the inlet (132) of the venturi (130) nozzle which is in communication hydraulic with halogen generator output and the output (109) of the device (100).
