Method and article of manufacture for providing service-to-role assignment to launch application services in role-based computer system

In the computer system (400) which begins application service to a predetermined job, assignment between service and a job is customized in the target table. If a user inserts CD-ROM with a basic table and a reference listing, a system will supply the target table automatically. A basic table (119) saves the 1st assignment (112) between application service (S, 151*156) and a job (RO), and saves the language of application service (S), and the 2nd assignment of a service characteristic (SA) service characteristic (SA) like a segment of industry. A reference listing (129) saves the reference characteristic (REA) in a basic table to each application service (S). If service and the reference characteristic of explanation of the service to each job (RO) correspond, it will be sent into the table (149) which is applicable from a basic table (119).
