Oximetry pulse indicator

Abstract

(57) The intellectual processor based on a summary rule offers the pulse indicator in which generating of each optical plethysmograph wave-like pulse got by the pulse oxygen analyser is shown. When distortion which a plethysmograph signal is made to transform hardly exists, this processor analyzes the form of a wave-like pulse, and determines the wave-like part which generates directions of a pulse. When distortion exists, a looser waveform standard is used and it is determined whether a pulse exists or not. When a pulse exists, directions of a pulse are due to an average pulse rate. Directions are not generated when a pulse does not exist. A pulse indicator offers a trigger and an amplitude output. A trigger output is used in order to start directions of the visual pulse on the display of the directions corresponding to the "beep" which is the sound of 可聴, a spike perpendicular to horizontal trace, or a Bar form display, etc. An amplitude output is used in order to direct data integrity, and the degree of saturation corresponding to it and the reliability in the calculated value of a pulse rate. As for an amplitude output, it is possible the volume of a beep, frequency, or to make the characteristic of pulse indicators, such as height of a visual display spike, change.
