Methods and receivers that estimate multi-path delays by removing signal rays from a power-delay profile

Abstract

How to presume two or more delay values in multipass signal transmission. The correlation value corresponding to two or more delay values related with multipass signal transmission is generated. It is used for the 1st electric power delay profile (PDP) sequence being made from a correlation value, and presuming the 1st delay value. The 1st standard PDP sequence is generated based on the PDP sequence and the 1st PDP sequence which were defined beforehand. At least 1 portion of the contribution to the 1st PDP sequence is removed from the 1st delay value, and the 1st standard PDP sequence is removed from the 1st PDP sequence so that the 2nd PDP sequence may be given. The 2nd value is presumed based on the 2nd PDP sequence.
