A method for effecting control call admission in the uplink of a communication system duplex time division, multiple access broadband code division, WCDMA-TDD (Wideband Code Division Multiple Acces Time Division Duplex) characterized by a radio network controller that performs the steps of: assigning resource units required by a new user (106), to timeslots of uplink based on outage probability of each individual time fee; calculate a probability of total cut for the new user (106); determining if the probability of total cut is below a predetermined value; and admit the new user (106) where the determination is positive.
