Medicament container with same side airflow inlet and outlet

System for administering a medicament, the system comprising a housing (300), comprising: an upper portion (304) having a channel of airflow (320) extending therethrough; a lower portion (308) configured to house a medicament container (100), the medicament container having an upper layer (104), a lower layer (112), and a medicament placed therein; and a lancet (212) in the housing for perforating or selectively cutting the upper layer of the medicament container without piercing the lower layer of the medicament container; characterized in that the lancet is configured to form a first opening and a second opening in the upper layer of the medicament container such that the openings are aligned with the flow channel of air from the case, which enters the air through the first opening and out the second opening, and wherein the lancet is withdrawn from the medicament container before administering the medicament from the medicament container.
