Sealing profile cross section U- or Omega, elastomer or plastomer, devoid of rigid support at least partially embedded in its mass, optionally comprising said profile, a sealing member (6) adjacent to its base or one of its arms and projecting outwardly from said base, said profile being intended to cover, pinzándola firmly, a projecting portion (8) of a structure, in particular a frame opening of a car body, and is caracterizándo- comprising: - two shells (1, 2) of elastomer or plastomer, each comprising a flange (1a, 2a) and an adjacent portion (1b, 2b) constituting a portion of the base of the profile, said two shells being arranged preferably so essentially symmetrical along a cross section of the profile and being separated from one another by an opening (3) formed through the base of the profile and extends longitudinally along central latter Lapart ; - A layer (7) made of a flexible little or not stretchable material, applied inside the two shells (1, 2) to join the two wings (1a, 2a) and adjacent parts (1b, 2b) of the base of the profile of each one of said wings; - A block (4) forming a wedge, in cross section essentially similar to that of the opening (3) separating the shells (1, 2), which is fitted forcedly being such the cross section of the opening ( 3) that, during positioning of the cleat (4), causes, due to the layer (7) of flexible material joining the two shells, one of said tilting movement shells relative to the other, about the free ends of the two wings of the profile.
