Electrical socket

The invention relates to an electrical plug connector having a housing which has a plug compartment for inserting a connector plug, and surrounds a contact module, the contact module a plurality of electrical conductors comprises, as well as contact elements, which can be contacted by associated plug contacts of the connector, and wherein in each case two conductors form a conductor pair for transmitting a high-frequency electrical signal and at least two conductors intersect within the contact module. In order to develop the electric socket so that it can be manufactured cost and the risk of signal coupling is reduced between different pairs of conductors, the invention proposes that the contact module comprises a multi-layer electrical circuit board, the contact-carrying side intersecting conductor tracks, and that the contact elements in the circuit board are used and with its on board overhanging, the plug shaft facing end regions each forming a contact spring.
