Method for automatic exposure control

The multi-dimension imaging device and method for automatic exposure control control exposure of an imager, and a gain setup and it is made for processing to generate within the single-CPU environment of multitasking by incorporating two separate modules. The 1st module called an imager control module controls exposure of an imager, and a gain setup by this specification. Generally the 1st module was incorporated in a high priority routine like interrupt service routine, and it has guaranteed that a module is performed about all the taking-in frames. On these specifications, the 2nd module called a histogram processing module calculates target contrast (product of the exposure made into a target, and a gain setup) based on the feedback from the image data from the 1st module and a memory. Generally the 2nd module is incorporated in a low priority routine like a task level routine, and a routine is made to perform systematically according to a priority.
