Device for packing flat objects in transport containers, in particular flat folded cartons (1) in outer cartons (2), with a feed device (3) to which the flat objects are fed in shingled form, a subsequently arranged conveying device (9) whose approximately vertically extending end emits the objects at the filling in the transport container, and with means to promote the transport container at the filling, wherein at the filling two lateral belt conveyors (16, 17) are arranged, of which the transport containers are moved forward during filling.
