A method and an apparatus for stimulating/modulating biochemical processes using pulsed electromagnetic fields

An apparatus comprising: - a plurality of coils (108, 110, 112) electrically conductive like, each coil having a corresponding center axis, each being said rigid central axis, in operation, into cells, tissue, microorganisms, seeds, plants or plant tissue, - means (104) pulse generator operationally connected to each coil for supplying a series of current pulses for conduction in each coil, said series of pulses being adapted to generate a magnetic field periodically varying like of each coil for inducing an electric field, in which several coils are arranged in a honeycomb structure so that a first coil is arranged with three second coils adjacent to the first coil, and wherein, for a given pulse supplied by the pulse generating means, the magnetic field in the center of the first coil is directed opposite to the magnetic field in the center of the three adjacent second coils.
