Abstract
The invention relates to a method for identifying a metal object, wherein a plate with the characterizing elements is applied to a surface of the metallic article. The inventive method is characterized in that the plate contains the characteristic elements in the form of perforations. Particularly, the inventive method for the identification of a metal object, which is subjected to high temperature treatment is suitable.
