Measuring a talking quality of a telephone link in a telecommunications network

Method for measuring the speech quality of a telephone link in a telecommunications network, the method comprising a main step of subjecting a speech signal degraded (s' (t)) with respect to a speech signal reference (s (t)), an objective measurement technique (32) in order to measure a perceptual quality of speech signals and producing a quality signal (q) which represents an estimated value concerning the voice quality, being the signal reference speech signal of the voice (s (t)) of the speaker and including speech signal degraded a return signal (r (t)), the feedback signal a signal which occurred or may occur in a return channel of the telephone link during the transmission of the voice signal of the speaker in a forward channel of the telephone link, characterized in that the main step is performed by an objective measurement technique which includes a step of modeling masking effects based on ruidopresente return signal.
