Coating for a storage container having a wall coating (1) forming a container, said liner wall including (1) a transfer spigot (2) which provides a passage (14) from the interior of the liner ( 1) to the outside thereof, comprising the transfer spigot (2): a tubular body (13) defining said passage, the tubular body (13) a first opening at the distal end thereof; a surface ring (11) located around the opening of said annular surface (11) providing a sealing surface adapted to set a seal on the surface of a valve body (20) when said body the valve (20) is mounted thereto; a rupturable membrane (6) sealed to the annular surface (11) with a continuous seam (10) around said opening being located continuous seal (10) on said annular surface; wherein the annular (11) surface has a radially inner portion (12) and a radially outer portion, characterized in that said continuous seal (10) is operatively located in the radially outer portion, while the portion ra- radially inner (12) is adapted for a valve gasket (20) which engages with the tubular body (13) to form a seal with it the valve gasket (20) being arranged to insulate the board continuous high temperature and pressure which occur when the sterilizing fluid through the valve (20) to sterilize the membrane (6).
