Air filtering device

Device air filter for filtering air in confined spaces such as refrigerators, food pantries, wine cellars, refrigerators and the like, comprising a first filter element, a second filter element and a duct air flow defining a flow path space air through the device from an air inlet to an air outlet, said first filter element and said second filter element to interact with at least a fraction of the molecules flowing along the flow path of air or being positioned are absorbed in one of the filter elements, characterized in that said first filter element is capable of removing malodor molecules from the air and comprises activated carbon supported on a support member and said second filter element is capable of oxidizing ethylene and comprises permanganate potassium supported on a zeolite or alumina and wherein less than 30% of the macroscopic surface of the potassium permanganate is directly exposed to air and at least 30% of the macroscopic surface of the potassium permanganate is in contact with activated carbon.
