Spinning and processing of carbon nanotube filaments, ribbons, and yarns

Abstract

Structures, such as a fiber of a carbon nanotube, a ribbon, or thread, are manufactured with condensation silk thread spun. Stabilization of material by which silk thread spun was carried out, orientation, and fabrication were realized by the after [silk thread spun] process. As an advantage, dissolution of dissolution of the core * sheath structure by the nature impurities of carbon, increase of a mechanical property, and the dimensional instability nature in the inside of the liquid electrolyte which had become the hindrance of use of such silk-thread-spun materials in electrochemical equipment conventionally is included. It becomes possible to use for an actuator, a super capacitor, and electrical energy acquisition equipment the nanotube fiber, the ribbon, or thread by which condensation silk thread spun was carried out by these progress.
