A modular spinal plate

Set of modular fixation with plates of the spine for use with spinal screws having post portions which can extend over the vertebrae, comprising: an element (150) via which includes a pair of rails (152a, 152b) parallel separated ; said assembly characterized by: at least one element (200) compressible coupling including a first hole (202) of passage for receiving therethrough said rails (152a, 152b) parallel separated, a second hole (208) of step for receiving therethrough the corresponding part of said portions (114) of said spinal screw post, and means (220) for coupling said portions (114) post to said element (200) corresponding compressible coupling, said assembly being characterized in that said means (200) compressible coupling further includes at least one slot (206a, 206b) and can constrict said slot by applying a compressive force, and wherein, in use, said means (220) coupling additionally they provide a downward force on said member (200) compressible coupling, causing the narrowing of at least one slot (206a, 206b) and the corresponding compression element (200) coupling such that the element (220) coupling is locked on the rails (152a, 152b), and the set screw (102) corresponding pedicle and the plate is blocked mutually rigid manner.
