Percussion hammer with axial stop

Electrically powered hammer comprising: a hollow cylindrical spindle (4) mounted within a housing (10) of the hammer and provided with a plurality of circumferentially spaced holes; a mechanism for air cushion hammering action (24, 28, 32) located within the spindle for generating repeated impacts on a tool or tool tip (34) of the hammer; and a series of salt elements lowing (29a, 29b, 27a, 27b) coupled to the spindle, so that each protruding element extends through a corresponding hole in the spindle and radially inwardly of the inner surface of the spindle and radially outwardly of the outer surface of the spindle, wherein the projecting elements are adapted to together form an axial stop (29a, 29b) for one or more components (23) of the hammer, located within the spindle and together form an axial stop (27a, 27b) for one or more components (56) of the hammer, located around the spindle, characterized in that at least a portion of at least one of said components (56) of the hammer located around the spindle it is axially displaceable with respect to the protrusions.
