Apparatus for spraying aerosol from an aerosol container, which is removably attachable to a mounting plate in a predetermined position and which has a valve actuated by pressing at one end, wherein an actuator on the mounting plate back and herverschiebbares, held by a spring in its rest position actuator provided that is, via a mounted on an axle, with a part in the path of the actuator projecting rotatable or pivotable intermediate member interacts indirectly with the valve of the aerosol container.

There are already such devices are known in which by actuation of a contact, the aerosol container valve is controlled either by susceptible mechanical means or by electrical means to a lot of odor removal disinfectant or insecticide or the like. in the form of an aerosol in a restaurant, preferably in a toilet room, when the door to the same is actuated. However, these devices have the disadvantage that they are either very expensive and require maintenance and installation by a recognized professional.

To attach the aerosol container to the wall, on a door frame or the like. usually serve their own supporting structures that allow height adjustment of the container. For this purpose, the container can stand on an adjustable flat bottom plate or the inwardly curved container bottom can rest directly on a screw. The lateral position assurance can be done, for example, by a rubber band encompassing the container or a wire basket receiving the container.

A device known from Swiss Patent No. 457309 for spraying aerosols from an aerosol container has a reciprocating actuator, reciprocated by a spring in one direction, with an actuating knob for actuating an intermediate member cooperating with the valve of the aerosol container. The actual valve lever of this intermediate member is articulated at one end, approximately at the height of the spray head of the valve of the aerosol container to a mounting plate, rests with the other end on the spray head and carries a separate, articulated thereto attached actuating lever, the spring by such a is biased that it normally abuts with a part of the valve lever, so that the desired operation of the spray valve only when inserting the actuator, but not upon withdrawal. The known construction requires a multi-part design of the intermediate member with an additional bearing point and a spring and a complicated shape of the valve lever.

The invention aims to simplify the design, and consists essentially in the fact that in a device 'of the type mentioned, the rotatable or pivotable intermediate member is arranged and mounted on a strut attached to the mounting plate above the spray head of the valve of the aerosol container and that on the mounting plate a projecting between the spray head and intermediate member leaf spring is attached, wherein by taking place under the action of an axial force on the one end of the actuator displacement thereof its other end against a part of the intermediate member and this twisted or pivoted, wherein it presses the spray head down over the leaf spring.
