The invention relates to a method for the detection as well as speed and position estimation of moving objects in SAR images, comprising the following method steps: - Generating a sequence of consecutive single-look SAR images of the same polarization and from one image to varying look center frequency; - Detection of candidates for moving objects in the single-look SAR images of the sequence by looking for regions with respect to the environment deviant pattern of intensity; - Speed ​​estimation of the detected candidates; - Verification of the detected candidates as moving objects.
