Jacket

The invention relates to a jacket with a particular upper body of the user enveloping upper part with sleeves and preferably a hood.

Such jackets are made of a suitable material and they have appropriate closures they offer the user a good protection against weather. Especially for mountaineers, hikers, strollers and the like such jackets are suitable.

The invention has set itself the goal of expanding the scope of such a jacket so that the jacket can also be used as a sleeping bag. This is achieved by connecting to the rear of the upper part down a bag-like structure that forms a sleeping bag in the unfolded state in cooperation with the upper part. The user therefore needs to deploy only the sack-like structure attached to the upper part if necessary and receives a full-fledged sleeping bag.

The bag-like structure could be separated from the upper part when not in use and be connected to the upper part if necessary. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, however, the bag-like structure is firmly connected to the upper part and can be driven into the upper part.

For attachment of the bag-like structure on the inside of the upper side zips are expediently provided.

The upper edge in the folded state of the bag-like structure is connectable in one embodiment of the invention with the inside of the upper part via a hook-and-loop fastener.

In order to achieve a closing of the sleeping bag at the front, connecting members, such as zip or Velcro fasteners are provided for connecting the upper front of the bag-like structure with the lower front of the upper part.

To facilitate entry into the bag-like structure, this can be opened by means of a zip or Velcro.

The invention will be described in more detail with reference to an exemplary embodiment shown in the drawings, but without being limited to this example. 1 shows a jacket according to the invention

According to the drawings, a jacket has a top 1 with sleeves 2 and a hood 3. It is also indicated in the drawings that the upper part 1 has a lining 4, which serves in particular the heat retention, whereas the outer side of the upper part consists of a water-repellent material. To close the upper part 1 at the front of a zipper is arranged in the usual way. In addition, closing straps or locking cords 6 are provided.

At the lower edge of the rear of the upper part 1 includes a bag-like structure 7, which is formed in the example shown in one piece with the upper part or firmly connected to the upper part 1, in particular sewn. This bag-like structure 7 can be connected by means of zippers 8 and transversely extending Velcro strips 9 with the inside of the upper part 1, so that the state of FIG. 1 shows, in which only a corner of the bag-like structure 7 is shown knocked out for clarity.

When the zippers 8 and the hook-and-loop fasteners 9 are opened, the sack-like structure 7 can be unfolded downwards and is ready to receive the legs or the lower body of the user. In order to facilitate the entry into the bag-like structure 7, a zipper 10 is provided, by means of which the structure can be opened.

To connect the upper front of the bag-like structure 7 with the lower front of the upper part 1 Velcro fasteners 10 are arranged so that the sleeping bag formed is substantially fully closable.

Numerous modifications are possible within the scope of the invention. As already mentioned, an embodiment in which the bag-like structure 7 can be separated from the upper part 1 is also possible. For this purpose, 1 connecting members, in particular zipper or Velcro closures should be provided on the top of the bag-like structure 7 and on the underside of the upper part. The type of closures can be varied in many ways, zippers can be replaced with Velcro fasteners and vice versa.
