Use of hyaluronic acid derivatives in the preparation of biomaterials
Abstract
The present invention describes the use of polysaccharide derivatives for the preparation of biocompatible and biodegradable biomaterials with absorbent properties for body fluids and physical haemostatic activity, to be used in vascular anastomoses, both venous and arterial, and to prevent both the formation of postsurgical adhesions glasses such as scarring of the surrounding tissues.
