Time domain noise reduction

Abstract

A method for noise reduction in the transmission of acoustic Useful signals comprising the steps of:(A) determining when a speech pause is present;(B) diverting the incoming TC signal from the main signal path and applying a Fourier transform to produce a frequency spectrum;(C) storing the recorded last during the last speech pause Frequency spectrum in a buffer (3);(D) applying an inverse Fourier transform to the each last recorded frequency spectrum to produce a simulated noise signal;(E) withdrawing the simulated noise signal in the time domain the current incoming TC signal. Thereby the original signal remains until the actual noise deduction unadulterated. The method enables simple Agents and less computational effort than previously, one for the human ear most enjoyable acoustic overall impression to produce that will be adapted to individual needs can. Regardless of the requirements for a voice signal processing a simple optimization of the requirements performed the spectral processing of sound signals will.
