Device to display information depending on the position

The invention relates to a device and an adjustment device for providing position-dependent information. It is proposed to use a device (1), which recognizes its location in an environment by means of a navigation system (2) with respect to a map (4), for the reproduction of position-dependent, specifiable information. The device has a reproduction device (3) for providing the information (I1 ... Im) associated with the respective positions (P1 ... Pn). To store the information, a storage medium is used locally on the device (5) or a central data memory (9) on a server (7). The area (10) about a position (P1 ... Pn) in which the information is to be provided is defined by parameters such as radius (11) and circle (12).
