Uncomplexed cyclodextrin compositions for odor and wrinkle control

The invention relates to a stable aqueous composition wrinkle and odor absorbing, preferably for use on inanimate surfaces, especially fabrics. The composition includes about 0.1% to about 20% by weight of the composition of solubilized uncomplexed cyclodextrin and water soluble and an effective amount of an ingredient to improve the performance of the composition selected from a group containing: (1 ) cyclodextrin compatible surfactant; (2) antimicrobial active cyclodextrin compatible; (3) mixtures thereof. The composition also includes an anti-wrinkle agent which is a fabric lubricant, a polymer maintains the shape, a hydrophilic plasticizer, lithium salt, or mixture thereof. Hydrophilic perfume improve acceptance. Optionally the composition may contain low molecular weight polyols; metal salts to help control odor, humectants, etc. The composition is essentially free decualquier material that may stain fabric. The composition is preferably applied in small drops, especially through sprinklers. The combination of ciclodextina / surfactant, either alone or in combination with other ingredients provides improved antimicrobial activity.
