Mailbox answerphone service for mobile communications

Method for providing a telephone answering service mailbox to a caller on a mobile communications system during a call to a directory number used in common by different subscribers from the subscribers of the system to access their mailboxes, wherein said answerphone service identifies a mailbox associated with a subscriber via an identification code, wherein said method comprises: entry either in a first mode of operation of the telephone or answering machine in a second mode, different operating answering phone depending on the information received during call establishment indicating whether the call is of international origin.
