Coloured soda-lime glass

Abstract

The invention deals with a soda-lime glass. Stained glass including at least 5ppm Co described (by weight) and a weight of 0.5-0.9% Fe2O3 oxide. Relative to the total weight of iron atoms in the glass, Fe2+ atomic weight is 25-45%. Glass described further include chromium and/or vanadium. TLA4 glass has a range of 10-50% light transmittance coefficient and energy conduction 491nm wavelength. Described is particularly suitable for the production of glass for automotive light blue glass Windows.
