Aqueous crosslinkable coating compositions based on vinyl fluoropolymer

aqueous composition crosslinkable suitable coating for anti-graffiti and heavy duty comprising applications: (A) an aqueous emulsion polymer comprising at least one vinyl fluoropolymer in which: (i) said at least one vinyl fluoropolymer comprises as a polymerized monomer constituent thereof one or more fluorinated monomers having the formula: wherein R1 is CH3 or H, R2 is a perfluorinated C1-5 alkyl group and n is 1, 2, 3 or 4, and wherein said ( s) fluorinated monomers constitute (s) from 5 to 60% by weight of the total monomers used to prepare said at least one vinyl fluoropolymer; (Ii) said at least one vinyl fluoropolymer comprises as a polymerized monomer constituent thereof one or polymerised more hydroxy-functional monomers in an amount to provide or contribute to a hydroxyl value, which has said at least one vinyl fluoropolymer of at least 8 mg KOH / g of solid polymer, preferably within the range from 8 to 250 mg KOH / g solid polymer; (Iii) said at least one vinyl fluoropolymer comprises as one or more constituent monomers polymerized in the same one or more monomers with carboxylic acid functionality in an amount that provides or contributes to an acid, which has said at least one fluoropolymer vinyl, comprised within the range of 2 to 80 mg KOH / g solid polymer; (Iv) said at least one vinyl fluoropolymer has a glass transition temperature Tg in the range -50 to 90 ° C; and (B) at least one reactive hydroxyl crosslinker material.
