Electric evaporator for insecticides or perfumes in liquid formulation, contained in a bottle (F) provided with a wick (W), of the type in which said bottle can be permanently inserted in a container (1), the interior of said container being provided and a member (6, 7) for housing and centering said wick to a respective device (R) electrical heating, characterized in that said housing wicking and centering element (6, 7) is attached to the container walls (1 ) by elastic means (8) which allow displacements of said element (6, 7) in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the wick (W) towards or away from said device (R) heating and that a device (9, 10, 11) cam actuable manually outside of said container is further provided for effecting said displacements of the wick housing and element (6, 7) centering.
