Vascular temperature measuring device

Apparatus thermography catheter (5) for temperature measurement along a segment of vascular tissue, comprising a flexible body, at least two temperature sensors (10), each of which is mounted on an outer face and towards the free end respective of a resilient projection member (11), applied independently so that faces, and thus comes in contact with the vascular tissue in use, and a carrier (13) to transmit data on the temperature of the vascular wall from each temperature sensor (10) to a remote device, wherein each projection member (11) is deployable under the effect of elastic return to a substantially independent degree of other, so that, in use, the free end of the projecting element (11) substantially conforming to the morphology of the vascular tissue during movement of the device in the tissue and thereby maintains thermal contact between the temperature sensor ( 10) and the vascular tissue.
