Method and system for frame and protocol classification

Abstract

Framework protocol quality and processing system and process in a data processing system (for example, by switching data packets or frames to traffic management). In the present invention, a part of the frame is analyzed on a predetermined test page, and the main characteristics required for processing the next frame are stored. The main features of the frame (or input information unit) are the type of layer-3 protocol used in the frame, the layer- 2 locking technique, the initial instruction address, the flags used to indicate the use of a local area network, and the identifier of the stream for which the frame belongs. The analysis is carried out using the largest subdivision tools, so the analysis can be done quickly and uniformly. Then, the captured features of the frame are used in an in-processor complex during processing of the frame. The processor is preconditioned by the address of the initial instruction, the layer 3, and the frame type flags. Thus, the processor starts frame processing based on the type of frame, at the appropriate location at the address or code entry point used. To avoid additional testing and jumper instructions, you can place additional instructions in the stack at the junctures. In addition, the streams of data streams are transmitted and processed in the order of their arrival. HE based on the frame type, it starts frame processing.
