Measuring device for measuring a process variable
Abstract
The invention relates to a measuring device for measuring an industrial process variable at a predetermined maximum power consumption by the measuring device. More particularly, the invention relates to a measuring device for connection to a current loop, in particular a 4-20 mA current loop, or to a digital communication, means for controlling the measuring operation of the measuring device in conformity with the predetermined power, wherein the control means, the power consumption by measuring operation of the measuring device control so that this power of the predetermined power consumption is approximated without the prescribed power is exceeded.
