Motion compatible sensor for non-invasive optical blood analysis

Abstract

(57) The signal of a motion is used in order that a summary non-permeating type optical sensor may compute the physiological characteristic measured. A least square or rate ratio technology is applied to the signal of a motion itself to a pulse oximeter. This became possible when the change in a motion chose the site of the patient who generates two wave-like signals with which correlation was fully taken. When a nail and the sensor arranged especially on the nail of the thumb were especially used to a pulse oximeter, it turned out that the characteristic of having the red line and infrared signal with which correlation was taken is shown, and the produced signal has correlation in artery oxygen saturation.
