Collection well for body fluid tester

An apparatus (10) for collecting a body fluid for testing an analyte contained in said body fluid, said apparatus (10) comprising: - a conduit (20) having a first end (34) for admitting a body fluid and bring said body fluid from said first end (34) to a discharge end (24) of said conduit (20); - A reservoir (30) for receiving and collecting a flow of body fluid from said discharge end (24) of a duct (20), wherein said reservoir (30) has a volume at least as large as a test volume desired body fluid to be analyzed; - A space (48) capillary test defined by at least two separate minimum distance walls, constituting one of said walls a test strip (14) being located said space (48) capillary test after deposit (30) and in fluid communication with said fluid in said reservoir (30); and - said walls have separated a distance adequate to drain fluid wicking from said reservoir (30) when said fluid in said reservoir (30) reaches said transfer volume dimensions.
