Methods and apparatus for interfacing an encryption module with a personal computer
Abstract
(57) The encryption module which enciphers other sensitive data on summary finance may be conveniently arranged between a personal computer and the keyboard linked to this. The application program designed to move on a personal computer is constituted so that a user may be urged to input his own personal identification number or other personal data into an encryption module. As a result, personal data is not transmitted in the state of un-enciphering, and it does not exist in the hard drive of a personal computer with a non-enciphering form.
