The invention relates to a gymnastic apparatus according to the preamble of claim 1.
From the AT 377 182 B, or EP 195 288 A or US 5 046 726 A, a gymnastic apparatus is known in which a spring is formed by a arranged inside the telescopic rod steel spring with a substantially linear spring characteristic. In doing so, the force required to reduce the distance between the handles and the support rod increases substantially linearly.
The disadvantage of this known solution is that the linear increase of the force required to reduce the distance between the handles and the support rod force is unfavorable in many exercises and consideration for different leverage ratios is hardly possible for different users.
The aim of the invention is to avoid these disadvantages and to propose a gymnastic apparatus of the type mentioned, which allows the implementation of largely optimized for the respective user in terms of the effort expended exercises.
According to the invention this is achieved in a gymnastic apparatus of the type mentioned by the characterizing features of claim 1.
By the proposed measures, various exercises can be designed so that at least two spring / are compressed in the exercise. Thus, a corresponding gradation of the force required for various exercises can be achieved, whereby the force required to reduce the distance between the handles and the support rod gradually increases in a progressive manner.
For the purposes of the invention, upon actuation of the handles, which causes a relative movement between them and the support rod against the action of the spring force, first the spring with the lowest Eedersteifigkeit initially compressed, while the other springs experience little or no compression at all , Only when the softest spring is compressed to an extent where its compressive capacity decreases sharply, the next stiffer spring begins
AT 002 188 Ul to deform to a greater extent. If this reaches the limit of its compressibility by further increasing the force acting on the springs, the deformation of the next stiffer spring begins again. This results in so many graduated load ranges, as it corresponds to the number of springs.
An embodiment of the invention is based on a gymnastic apparatus according to the preamble of claim 2, in conjunction with the characterizing features of claim 1.
Particularly in the case of a gymnastic apparatus according to the preamble of claim 2, the features provided according to the invention result in great advantages, since it's just doing exercises, in which the support rod is supported in the forward bend of the user and the shortening of the distance between the handles and the support rod is done by bending the hull, the adaptation of the gymnastic apparatus to the respective requirements of the user with only one arranged in the telescopic rod spring only with great effort in the form of a vote of the spring on the user is possible.
By the US 5 273 507 A an exercise device has also been proposed in which two cup-shaped and provided with a lid end bodies, or whose lids protrude against each other directed rods that pass through the lid of the other end part and engage behind with a widened head. In this case, disc-shaped spring bodies are arranged between the two end bodies, which are interspersed by the two rods and optionally have different colors. These spring bodies are held between the covers of the end body. However, this exercise machine is only suitable for strengthening the shoulder girdle, wherein the device is compressed between the hands.
Due to the features of claim 3, there is the advantage that the production of such springs with little effort is possible.
By the features of claim 6, it is possible, for example, the softest spring green, a harder yellow spring and a third, in turn harder spring perform red to identify the load areas. By a visual control of the load is possible in a simple manner.
In order to enable optical control, but other embodiments of a gymnastic device according to the invention are conceivable. For example, it could be attached inside the pole
AT 002 188 Ul
Springs to be attached to these a radially outwardly pointing pointer, which is guided in a longitudinal slot in the lateral surface of the rod. In the area in which this pointer moves during the operation of the device, in turn, outside of the lateral surface of the rod colored markings could be mounted so that the loading area is indicated by the position of the pointer within a color range.
Due to the features of claim 4, there is the advantage that the force required to further reduce the distance between the handles and the support bar does not rise abruptly, but gradually increases in a transition region.
In principle, however, the springs can also be connected in parallel and, for example be concentric with each other, wherein the spring is arranged with the lowest spring stiffness inside and has the largest length. In this case, all the springs are supported on a support connected to a part of the telescopic rod and come successively to one with the second relative to the first part relatively displaceable part of the telescopic rod to the plant. As a result, the force required for a further reduction of the distance between the handles and the support rod increases substantially abruptly as soon as another spring comes to bear against the second support.
Due to the features of claim 7 it is ensured that the individual springs are pressed together in a particular order, which can estimate the currently applied force by the user very easily.
The invention will now be explained in more detail with reference to the drawing figures. Showing:
1 shows an embodiment of a gymnastic apparatus according to the invention with three outside arranged on the telescopic rod springs,
2 is a gymnastic apparatus according to FIG. 1 in section,
3 shows schematically the springs of a gymnastic apparatus according to FIG. 1, when working in the first loading area, FIG.
Fig. 4 shows schematically the springs of a gymnastic apparatus of FIG. 1, when working in the second load area, and

AT 002 188 Ul
At the two ends of a telescopic rod 1 handles 8, and a support rod 3 are provided which extend diagonally to both sides of the telescopic rod 1. The handles 8, or a holder 2 connecting them is secured in a T-shaped connector 10 so that the holder 2 is pivotable about a perpendicular to the telescopic rod 1 extending axis.
The lower part 1b of the telescopic rod 1, in which the second part la of the telescopic rod 1 is guided, is fixedly connected at its upper end to a support part 7 surrounding the rod for springs 4, 5.
The upper part la of the telescopic rod 1 is also firmly connected to a support member 7. This compound has a screw or a splint 11, which passes through the support member 7 and a pair of holes 12 of the rod la. In the bar la several such pairs of holes 12 are provided in order to achieve an adjustment of the device for different body sizes.
In a preferred embodiment, the upper part la of the telescopic rod is interrupted, wherein the two parts are interconnected by a hard rubber body 13.
This allows a lateral swinging of the uppermost part of the telescopic rod 1 by about 10 to 20 degrees. With this measure, the user can increase the lateral mobility of his spine.
In a relative movement of the handles 8 relative to the support rod 3, the applied force on the parts la, lb of the telescopic rod 1 and the two support members 7 on the springs 3, 4, 5 are transmitted, which are thereby compressed. These springs 3, 4, 5 are made of an elastic material, for example an elastomer, and are essentially formed by pierced cylinders or cones and are advantageously colored throughout with different colors.
In Fig. 3, the lowermost, softest spring 6 is compressed, while the springs 5 and 4 experience only a vanishing compression. The user of the device thus works in the lowest, for example, according to the color of the spring 6 named load range.
In Fig. 4, the softest spring 6 is completely compressed, and the user of the device operates in the second loading area.
AT 002 188 Ul
In Fig. 5, both the softest spring 6 and the medium-hard spring 5 are completely compressed, and the force applied by the user acts on the hardest spring 4. It thus operates in the third load range.
The gymnastic apparatus may expediently be used as described in AT 377 182 B. In this case, the support rod 3 is supported in the forward bend of the user and the handles 8 are detected with the extended hands with largely erect upper body. In the prevention of the upper body, the telescopic rod 1 due to the different pivot points of the user's body and the gymnastic apparatus against the force of the spring assembly (springs 4, 5, 6) pushed together, which due to the different hardness of the individual springs 3, 4, 5 a in essentially gradual progressive course of the spring characteristic. Due to the spring forces to be overcome there is a strengthening and stretching of the back and abdominal muscles of the user.
