PAPER WORK PAUL REUTHER G. Μ. Β. H.
IN NEUWIED A.RH. (GERMANY) Block bottom bag
Registered on 4 September 1959 (A 6412/59); Priority of the application in Germany of September 5, 1958 claims.
Beginning of the patent period: November 15, 1960.
Sind & are block bottom bags with provided on the longitudinal and lateral bottom edges .ein Ubildenden reinforcing bars and a seamless floor known, but can easily be prepared ready-to-use nor stacked in the flat folded state, which is an indispensable requirement in mass production today. Also, such folding containers can not run off a roll,
ie be made rotationally.
The same disadvantages also adhere to a known folding container with block bottom, in which at both longitudinal sides to the desired bag width inwardly folded strips weldable Verpakkungsmaterials at the two outer two-ply longitudinal edges welds and the non-welded, the side surfaces of the folding container forming folding parts up to the welds folded back to the outside sind.Bei the latter folding containers is still that they have no protruding reinforcing bars.
It is also known to form a bag with bottomfold and inwardly laid gussets by flipping edge panels of a panel, laying the bottom fold, folding the front panels together and joining their edges. These bags also have on the longitudinal and bottom edges no protruding15 the stiffening strips. Only at the filling opening double-layered edge folds are provided, which are more hindering than useful with respect to tight closure. Furthermore, such bags, which are provided from a blank with punched cuts into the region of the filling space, do not justify the use of weldable material, since the punch cuts do not guarantee a sufficient amount of material
Tightness is given.
Finally, a gusseted bag with reinforcing strips is known, which are obtained by folding back and gluing the superimposed side surfaces. Apart from the fact that the side gussets lack stability, no weldable material can be used, because then old superimposed surfaces would be firmly connected together and thus only an ordinary Zweinahtflachbeutel would be formed with a lot of waste.
The present invention relates to a block bottom bag with provided on the longitudinal and lateral bottom edges, a U-forming reinforcing bars and a seamless floor.
According to the invention hiebei between each two Längsverstärkangsteisten on the side surfaces a further reaching to the side Seirenverstärkungsleisten longitudinal reinforcing strip is provided.
According to the invention, such block bottom bags can be made in such a way that on the two longitudinal sides of a web of weldable material to the desired bag width inwardly folded strips are formed, which are welded to the two outer two-ply longitudinal edges and then the non-welded, the side surfaces the fold forming the bag folded back in a conventional manner to the welds to the outside, Then put on the bottom fold and, as is well known, the front surfaces aufeiuandergeklappt and their edges are welded.
As a result, the block bottom bag has the following major advantages: Due to the side edge seams or ribs or strips that run without interruption over the front sides and the bottom surface and seen from the side surrounding the bag like two U-shaped supports, the bag is extremely dimensionally stable. Due to the additionally resulting longitudinal reinforcing strips, the bag is able to absorb relatively high loads from above without significant deformation. Also protect the Seiten40 randnähte or ribs or strips the filling space against lateral pressures and damage. Further
No.215778, the block bottom bag is characterized by increased stability, since the bottom surface extends beyond the width of the side edge seams or ribs over the actual filling space and there are no welding or adhesive seams on it. In addition, the side edge seams give a different tension to the individual bag flaws and prevent the filling opening from lying on top of each other, which gives the bag the possibility of opening the bag more easily. When the bags are mechanically filled, the grippers of the filling machine can easily grasp the side edge folds or ribs and open them more trouble-free. Finally, it should also be noted that the broadening of the front faces a larger advertising space is achieved and that they have no break or fold.
In the drawing, the invention is illustrated by an embodiment in Figs. 1-3.
The longitudinal side surfaces 2 and 3 of the bag to be formed from a segment 1 are folded inwards around the desired bag width and welded at the edges 4, 5 to the edge strips and the non-welded longitudinal side surfaces 2, 3 covered to the outside.
It is the state that can be seen in FIG. This is followed by the laying of the bottom surfaces 6, 7 in the folds a, b, c, whereby at the same time the front surfaces 8, 9 are obtained.
The front surfaces 8.9 graze in the folds c, a stacked with the coated sides and welded together at the edges 10, 11 throughout.
In Fig. 2, the blank of Fig. 1 is shown in the state that only a welding of the side surface edges 10,11 has to be made to obtain the illustrated in FIG. 3 block bottom bag.
A modification of the invention can be made in such a way that the side surface edges 10, 11 from the bottom rebate b to the folds a, c diagonally on the top of the side edge seams 4, 5 and the superfluous outer triangle is separated.
The closing of the filled bag is done in a known manner.
