Process for photooxidative treatment of collagen-containing tissues

[Subject] The method of enabling photooxidation processing of collagen fiber nature connective tissue is offered in spite of the fact that the light transmittance state in unsettled cartilage tissue is low. [Solution means] In the photooxidation disposal method of 膠原 tissue, the organization 1 is pretreated with the adjustment city water solution 5 before light irradiation. The organization 1 which has permeability in the solution 5 in this preprocessing stage is dyed in the pigment contained in the solution 5, especially methylene blue. Light is activated and this pigment carries out the catalyst of the photooxidation reaction. The additive agent which has a larger refractive index than water is added to the solution 5 for adjustment, and, thereby, the optical transmittance of the 膠原 tissue 1 is raised in a preprocessing stage.
