Radial tyre crown reinforcement

Abstract

In order to improve the endurance of the crown reinforcement (2) of a tire "heavy" road is, the triangulation ply (20) and the working ply (22) radially outside are the largest of the armature (2), and are coupled radially in a thin rubber layer over an axial distance 1 at least equal to 2% of the axial width L0 of the triangulation ply (20).
