The switching center of the invention comprises a commutateurd'accès the service (11) and a control point (12) connected bya multiplex link (601). The switch is connected to contrôleursde base stations via first multiplex links (65) andat public switched telephone network by second liaisonsmultiplex (610) also conveying signalisationrelatifs signals to a permanent file, temporary file and to autrescentres of commutation. The switch establishes semi-permanent links between the multiplex link (601) connecting the control pointde (12) and on the one hand the first multiplex links (65) for an exchange of signaling signals, and the second other partavec multiplex connections (610) for a designaux signaling exchange with the permanent files and temporaireet other switching centers.
