Abstract

A method of treating canine diseases in dogs comprising administering amounts of a therapeutically effective vaccine to the dog, wherein the vaccine comprises viral antigens, a bacterial vaccine, or both, and wherein the vaccine is administered subcutaneously. or oral according to the programs provided in this document. Claim 1: A vaccine useful for treating canine diseases in a dog where the vaccine comprises therapeutically effective amounts of viral antigens, a bacterial vaccine, or both, and in which the vaccine is formulated to be administered by the dermal or oral route in a first dose, via orally in a second dose, orally in an optional third dose and orally in one or more annual doses and, in which the viral antigens comprise one or more of 1) the canine distemper virus (MC), 2) canine adenovirus type 2 (AVC-2), 3) canine parainfluenza virus (PIC), 4) canine parvovirus (PVC) and 5) coronavirus (CVC) and in which the bacterial vaccine comprises one or more bacteria selected from Leptospira canicola, L, grippotyphosa, L. icterohaemorrhagiae, L. pomona, L. Bratislava and Bordetella bronchiseptica and any combination of viral antigens and bacteria thereof.
