Methods and apparatus for providing a lottery game

A game apparatus may be composed of a value input device and a controller connected to said value input device. The controller may be integrated by a processor and memory, and may be programmed to receive betting data in response to a bet made by a person in a game, to receive data representative of a second plurality of indications of the first type where the second plurality of indications of a first type can be selected at random, to replace one or more of the indications of a first type in, at least, one of the first plurality of indications and the second plurality of indications by indications of a second type, to determine whether any indication of the first plurality of indications of the first type matches any indication of the second plurality of indications of the first type to match indications of the second type, with at least an indication of the second plurality of indications of the first type if the indications of a second type replaced the indications of a first type of the first plurality of indications, to match the indications of the second type with at least an indication of the first plurality of indications of the first type if the indications of a second type replaced an indication of a first type of the second plurality of indications and to determine a prize value associated with said result of the lottery game.
