Liquid composition in a pouch

A liquid composition comprising a transparent or translucent medium and solid particles contained within the liquid medium characterized in that the liquid medium comprises less than 10% by weight of water and the composition is contained within a bag made of a transparent material or translucent soluble in water, so that the individual solid particles are visible from the outside of the bag. Said liquid composition wherein the water soluble bag material comprises a water soluble polymer that is selected from the group consisting of polyacrylates and copolymers of water soluble acrylate, methyl cellulose, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, dextrin ethyl cellulose, hydroxy ethyl cellulose, hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose, maltodextrin, polymethacrylates, and mixtures thereof; and wherein the water soluble bag material comprises polyvinyl alcohol. Solid particles have an average geometric diameter of at least 0.5 mm. Said solid particles comprise active components which are selected from the group consisting of bleach, bleach activator, enzymes, perfumes and mixtures thereof. In said liquid composition at least some of the solid particles are colored dots, not white. Said liquid composition which can be a unit dose of a laundry composition, the composition comprises at least i) an anionic surfactant and ii) a fatty acid.
